Appointment and Submission Guidelines

Service Availability

  • Walk-in Centers: All walk-in centers are open. You may submit applications at the Brampton, Halifax, Mississauga, Toronto and Winnipeg centers.
  • Submission Time: Application submission time for all BLS centers in Canada is 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Key Appointment Requirements

When submitting an application based on an appointment, you must present the following:

  • Proof of Appointment Confirmation along with your Current Original Passport.
  • The passport number on your current nationality's passport must match the one noted on the appointment confirmation document (this rule applies to surrender applications as well).
  • Arrival Time: You are required to arrive not more than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
  • Entry Access: Please carry a printed copy of your Appointment Confirmation and present it to BLS Security at the entrance.

  • Appointment Slots: Keep track of the BLS Appointment Page, as additional slots may open during the day or week, depending on demand and capacity.
  • General Inquiry: For general inquiries, staff is available Monday to Friday between 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
